EL ROBLE HOME CARE Is A Licensed Home Care Organization in the State of California
The California Department of Social Services has permitted El Roble Home Care to design, operate, and maintain home care services in the customers homes, according to the applicable provisions of the California Health and Safety Codes.
Effective in January 2016, all home care service aides and providers must have licenses to operate in California.
Home Care Services Consumer Protection Act, Assembly Bill No. 1217
In October 2013, Governor Jerry Brown signed Assembly Bill No. 1217, the Home Care Services Consumer Protection Act. Effective in January 2016, this law requires all home care organizations to be licensed by the California State Department of Social Services. In addition, all home care aides need to pass through criminal background check to be listed on the Department's public online registry before providing any home care.
The Home Care Services Consumer Protection Act was legislated to protect aged and disabled individuals who need to hire private aides in order to perform daily activities in their own homes.
All of El Roble Home Care Aides Are Listed on the California Department of Social Services Public Online Registry
The caregiver must be listed on the California Department of Social Services (CDSS) Public Online Registry before providing customers home care services. The caregiver must pass criminal background and sexual offender check in order to be listed on CDSS Public Online Registry. Each registered caregiver will receive a Home Care Aide (HCA) ID, an unique 10(ten) digit number, which is often called PER ID (personal ID) as well. Home Care Agency/Organization and Aides have their own unique numbers.
Therefore, El Roble Home Care hire only caregivers that are currently registered on the CDSS Public Online Registry with valid HCA ID. In addition, all caregivers have to pass through technical and health (e.g. TB and Hep B) checks, along with six hour on-boarding training, before providing any client home care services.
