5 Minute Chocolate Fruit Bar
You can make delicious dark chocolate bars with a microwave and within 5 minutes. Yep, you hear it right: only 5 minutes!

Chocolate!!!! What a food that makes many of us (including me, for sure) smile after a rough day! My friend Kate once said she would even have goosebumps by just hearing the sound of it. Chocolate seems to have the magic power to cheer us up. Furthermore, moderately consuming chocolate could improve our health. Studies have shown there is abundant antioxidants found in dark chocolate that protect us from diseases caused by free radicals, such as cancer, cardiovascular, and inflammatory disorders. The higher the cocoa percentage content the chocolate contains, the more antioxidants it provides.
I have a recipe that you can make delicious dark chocolate bars with a microwave and within 5 minutes. Yep, you hear it right: only 5 minutes! The chocolate bars are so cute that you can bring to any friend as a holiday gift or to an afternoon tea-party! Let's make this magic happen together!
Ingredients

- A piece of three oz dark chocolate bar
55% or above cocoa content
You can also find many dark chocolate bars made with dried fruits (e.g. raspberries), expresso beans, and peanut butter in grocery stores.
- Two tablespoons of
Dried cranberries
Raisins
Pumpkin seeds
Dried apricots
Coconut chips
Any fruit and candy
- Two teaspoons of sea salt
Substituting the sea salt with other fancy types like Himalayan pink or flake salt could deliver another interesting result! You could decorate your chocolate bar with Himalayan pink salt which also adds more flavors with many natural minerals and elements it contains. Flake salt dissolves quickly in your mouth, resulting in a "pop" of flavor.

Procedures

Put a piece of parchment paper to cover the whole area of a flat-bottom pan.
Chop all dried ingredients into 0.2 inch x 0.2 inch x 0.2 inch cubes.
Chop the chocolate bar into pieces. Put the pieces into a glass bowl.
Microwave the pieces with high power for 30 seconds. Mix the melted chocolate with a spatula. Then, put the bowl back to the microwave and heat it for another 30 seconds. Repeat this procedure until most chocolate is melted.

The residual heat will keep cooking the chocolate. Mix the chocolate until all chocolate melts.
Pour and spread the chocolate in the pan.
Sprinkle the chocolate with cubes of dried ingredients. Be creative. ;-)
Sprinkle the final products with sea salt.
Many people think dark chocolate is too bitter to eat. Yet, the natural sweetness in the dried fruits and the salt somehow minimize the bitterness from the cocoa and therefore generate complex taste on your tongue.
